Agape in our church

We hope that our Lord Jesus is blessing you and your families.

Like in every sabbath, also the last one in April 11th 2009, the program started at 10 AM and continued until 12 o'clock. In the program there was also a drama organized by the children of our church with the topic "The modern prodigal son"

We were blessed this Sabbath because after the program we spent time together in the lunch prepared by the ladies of our church.

In the afternoon the programed continued with an escursion in mount Morava. We were blessed in such a place because we were close to the nature that is created by God. We sang songs to God, and listened a short sermon from the church pastor, Trifjol Ngjela. In the end we prayed and climbed up to the cross at the top of the mountain.

Greetings from the Adventist Church in Korça

Greetings to all the adventists from the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Korça!

First of all we wish you with all our heart God's blessings in your lives and families. We present you the activities that our church had on the first tremester for this year.

Activities

1. The first Sabbath in January we had communion where more then 50% of the members were present. This was a blessing since some visitors took part in communion as well.
2. Also in January we started a training series every Sabbath afternoon where we learn how to evangelize. These meetings will last until May.
3. In 22 - 26 February we had a week of prophecy where we studied the book of Daniel. We were blessed a lot during this week since we truly understand that we are living in the last days, but we have the assurance that God is in control of everything.
4. In 7 March we had the Festival of Faith in Tirana on which 14 members from our church were present. Pastor David Currie, the first adventist missionary in Albania, had the sermon. In the program there was also a mime drama prepared by the youth of Korça church. Its title was: "Overcoming bad habits"
5. In 22 - 26 March we had another week of prophecy where we studied the book of Revelation. Like in February this week was a blessing for all of us. It helped us to understand our role as a church in the last days.
6. The week of prophecy closed on Saturday, 28th March with communion. Pastor Trifjol Ngjela preached about the great supper that Lord Jesus Christt is preparing for us when He comes back. Also this Sabath was a great blessing since the church was recommitted to God. In afternoon the youth saw the adventist movie "The Last Battle" translated and edited in Albanian by Genti and Sanda Thomollari.

This new tremester we will face new challenges. Spring is coming after a long borring winter. Our prayer is that we may be able to bring the spiritual spring in Korça. In May we start our first evangelistic event in Korça which will be followed up by another two in June and July. The greates event we are preparing for is the 15th anniversary of the Seventh-day adventist church in Korça.

Pray that as a church we may successfully fulfill the great commission of our Lord Jesus Christ, to evangelise and preach the three angels message in Korça.
